Building/structure dates: 1882 initial construction
Significance: A fine illustration of the wooden frame cottage erected in mountain mining camps in the 1880's. This house is one of an assortment of 1880's residences of different construction types surviving north of Chalk Creek, away for Sites of fires in 1890's.
