Significance: The Elisha Cobb House is a typically Cape Cod "double house" except that it has two salt box lean-tos instead of one continuous lean-to. Various interior alterations have been made. / The Elisha Cobb House, early nineteenth century, is an example of a traditional Cape Cod "house-and-a-half" which was enlarged to a "double-house." Elisha Cobb was a master of fishing vessels. Building Number 14-40 in the Cape Cod National Seashore.
