Building/structure dates: 1882 initial construction
Significance: The station at Atlanta is a representative example of the "combination" station (one that has the ability to service both freight and passengers separately under the same roof). This station is very similar to another, D, L & W station in Vestal, New York (NY-50), suggesting that the D, L & W used "stock" plans for the small stations along the line.
