Significance: Fort Hill is significant as a rural agricultural complex in Virginia's "Southside" region, containing a mansion of traditional form embellished with Italianate and Greek Revival influences (built circa 1880), as well as a complement of cabins and agricultural outbuildings, many estimated to have been built circa 1900-1920.
