Survey number HABS IA-148 Significance: The building was built by The Purity Candy Company, which reincorporated and added the name "Windsor" to the firm. The building was first used as a candy factory specializing in "Purity" chocolates and bon bons. The building is a fair example of early 1900's Commercial style architecture. The building is a contributing structure in the proposed Court Avenue Historic District. The district is known primarily for its warehouses.
