Building/structure dates: 1875 initial construction
Significance: The Baumgartner Creamery is the last known 19th century cheese factory building still standing in Will County, Illinois, and one of the few left in that state. It is a representative and relatively intact element of 19th century commercial agricultural development in the upper Midwest.
