Significance: The Lembeck & Betz Eagle Brewery grew over 70 years to become the fourth largest brewery in New Jersey, contributing significantly to the development of the surrounding German and Irish community and the state's brewing industry as a whole. The complex is a representative example of late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century industrial architecture associated with brewing.
