Building/structure dates:
1868 initial construction
Significance: This house was built in 1868 for Nancy Moore. It is distinguished from the other Chapline Street Buildings studied in this survey by its smaller scale and simplicity of form and detail. The bracketed cornice line and carved stone lintels of its Chapline Street facade harmonize with the more elaborate designs of the neighboring properties.
